The Great Exhibition’ at Middleport Pottery. Opening Friday 26th May and runs until 2nd July.

A huge thank you to all the contestants who have gifted their ceramic creations as part of this wonderful showcase. Learn about the art of ceramics; Hand Building, Coiling and Raku techniques alongside real-life examples, Nam’s Japanese Bowls, Clover’s Russian Dolls and Ryan’s hand-built Turtle toilet!

Walking Tours with Tony - Industrial Middleport

From Longport to Newport Lane (Middleport) Tony's tour will look at how Middleport's industry has evolved along this stretch of the Trent & Mersey canal inc. Price & Kensington, Middleport Pottery & Shelton Bar.

Creative Summer! Raku Pottery Experience!

Creative Summer! Raku Pottery Experience!

Sunday 20th August - 11am - 3pm

Experience the magic of Raku Pottery with Muddy Fingers Pottery. Raku Pottery is created by a specific ceramic firing process that uses both fire and smoke to create unique patterns and designs.

Each participant will create a unique tile/pot to take away with them on the day. £6 per person - drop in.
