Historic Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, offers groups a unique visitor experience combining the rich story of a working heritage attraction and a unique shopping experience.
Our magnificent 19th century pottery, location for hit BBC Show The Great Pottery Throw Down, features original buildings including an enormous bottle kiln, steam engine and fascinating Victorian offices. New features include the opening of the original workers’ bathhouse – the only one of its kind open to the public – and the historic working narrowboat, Dane, which is now moored alongside the attraction. There is the opportunity to enjoy a personalised tour of the home of world famous Burleigh ceramic ware.
