Would you like to play a vital role in helping heritage to thrive?

UKHBPT is seeking new trustees. We are looking for people with an interest in charity governance and a commitment to the UK’s industrial and commercial heritage to join our Board Trustees. We are particularly interested to hear from people with expertise in any of the following areas: HR, fundraising, education, community development and creative digital. For information about UKHBPT’s existing trustees, please visit https://ukhbpt.org/people

This is a voluntary role and requires a commitment to participate in six daytime board meetings per year (alternating between Stoke-on-Trent and London) as well as having involvement by telephone and email in between meetings.

For an informal discussion about becoming a UKHBPT trustee, please contact Clare Wood, Director, via email in the first instance (clare.wood@ukhbpt.org). The role of trustee for UKHBPT is subject to interview and the approval of the current UKHBPT Board of Trustees. Expenses are available to cover transportation costs for attending UKHBPT Board Meetings. UKHBPT values equality and diversity across our organisation and welcomes applications from all sectors of society.
