British Ceramics Biennial 2019

The British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) returns to Stoke-on-Trent from 7 September to 13 October 2019, bringing together more than 300 contemporary artists in a vibrant programme of exhibitions, installations and events taking place in six iconic cultural venues across the city.

Middleport Pottery / UKHBPT are seeking volunteers to support the maintenance and operation of Dane, one of the last remaining wooden built working narrowboats.

UKHBPT awarded Heritage Lottery Fund grant for Harper Street

United Kingdom Historic Building Preservation Trust (UKHBPT), the charity which restored and now operates Middleport Pottery, has been awarded a £974,500 National Lottery grant, awarded via the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), to restore and renovate a row of former pottery workers’ houses adjacent to the popular visitor attraction.
